Good Trouble: 63 Years Later

Sixty-three years after the historic March on Washington, we gather once again to honor the legacy of those who marched for justice and to continue the work that still lies ahead.

Join Minister Daryl J. Walker, CLEO & Company, Together Colorado, Phi Beta Sigma, Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Rev. Quincy Shannon, Legacy Voices, and community leaders from across Colorado for Good Trouble: 63 Years Later, a powerful day of reflection, celebration, action and civic engagement.

Together we will:

• Honor the legacy of the 1963 March on Washington, 63 years later.
• Celebrate Black Philanthropy Month and the power of collective community impact.
• Inspire civic engagement and voter participation.
• Connect with faith leaders, community organizations and advocates working for change.
• Answer the call to continue the work through service, advocacy and voting.

Held during Black Philanthropy Month, this event recognizes the generations of Black leaders, organizers and changemakers whose investments of time, talent and resources have strengthened our communities and expanded opportunities for future generations. Together, we will celebrate the progress made since the 1963 March on Washington while acknowledging that the fight for equity, justice and voting rights continues.

Inspired by the words of Congressman John Lewis to “make some noise and get in good trouble,” this gathering is a call to action. Your voice matters. Your vote matters.
